“The Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory’s Innovation Center will be the first new building constructed on the PPPL campus in several decades. The 68,000-square-foot facility will create a new gateway to the campus and serve as the core of the International Hub for Fusion Energy. The building will feature adaptable laboratory spaces, technical collaboration areas designed to connect researchers with facilities around the world, and office spaces supporting research and development. The project will expand PPPL’s capabilities and support its mission of advancing fusion as a future clean energy source, while also accommodating expanded research in microelectronics, quantum information science, and sustainability”.
